Understanding usage limits
Articles per month
An "article" is counted when:
- A new post is synced from WordPress to Shopify
- This is a monthly rolling limit that resets each billing cycle
Does NOT count:
- Updates to existing articles
- Draft syncs
- Failed sync attempts
Edits per month
An "edit" is counted when:
- An existing Shopify article is updated via sync
- Featured image is changed
- Tags or metadata are updated
Connections
A "connection" is:
- One WordPress site linked to your Shopify store
- Multiple WordPress sites require multiple connections
Blog mappings
Rules that send WordPress posts to Shopify blogs by category and language. They come with Pro and above, with no limit on the number of rules. See Blog Mappings.

Monthly content volume
Calculate your typical monthly publishing:
Posts per week × 4 weeks = Monthly articles needed
Example:
- 10 posts/week × 4 = 40 articles/month
- Recommendation: Pro Plan (100 articles)
Edit frequency
Estimate how often you update existing posts:
Average updates per post × Total posts = Monthly edits
Example:
- 3 updates/post × 20 active posts = 60 edits/month
